Heaton Sports Club

Heaton Sports Club was founded as Heaton Cricket Club in 1882 and cricket remains the predominant sport today. The club runs three senior teams which compete in the Greater Manchester Cricket League, together junior teams covering the age range 9-18 and an ECB All Stars programme for boys and girls aged 5-9. The club has very strict safeguarding policy and is very proud of our diversity and welcoming culture.

In addition to cricket, Heaton Sports Club hosts four rounders teams who play on Thursday evenings in summer, three table tennis teams and two darts teams.

The club has a thriving social scene regularly with over 1000 members enjoying regular quiz nights, open mic evenings, music shows and other events. The clubs function room is available for hire for evening and daytime events and can host up to 80 people.

The club is proud to announce plans for redevelopment/refurbishment of both the function room and members bar with work due to commence in early 2025. Impressions of the updated facilities are included on our club page.
