Heaton Sports Club was founded as Heaton Cricket Club in 1882 and cricket remains the predominant sport today. The club runs three senior teams which compete in the Greater Manchester Cricket League, together with junior teams covering the age range 9-18 and an ECB All Stars programme for boys and girls aged 5-9. We are also delighted to share that 2026 will see the launch of our first ever girls section for ages 7-12. This follows the success of our girls dynamo section in 2025.The club is very proud of our diversity and welcoming culture along with our robust safeguarding policies. In addition to cricket, Heaton Sports Club hosts four rounders teams who play on Thursday evenings in summer, three table tennis teams and two darts teams. In 2025 we celebrated being named joint runner up in Bolton CAMRA Club of the year awards!
